The HDFC Bank Parivartan Educational Crisis Scholarship is part of HDFC Bank's flagship CSR programme. It is specifically targeted at students whose ongoing education is at risk because of a family-level financial crisis — the loss of a parent or earning family member, a major medical emergency, business failure, or a natural calamity affecting the family.
Eligibility: students from Class 1 to PG (including UG engineering), with verifiable evidence of recent financial crisis affecting the family, enrolled in a recognised institution, and showing satisfactory academic progress. Family income guidelines vary by region but are designed to be flexible for genuine crisis cases. The award amount varies by educational level (typically Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 75,000 per year), and renewal is conditional on continued academic progress and ongoing financial need.
Apply through the Buddy4Study portal during the annual window (June to September typical). Required: admission proof, mark sheets, family income certificate, crisis-event evidence (death/medical/disaster certificates), and a brief personal statement.
