It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. Yagachi Institute of Technology offers 4 programmes at undergraduate level. The college's official Weebly page identifies it as Yagachi Institute of Technology (YIT), affiliated to VTU and run by Yagachi Educational Research Trust (YEAR). The current VTU affiliated-institute pages reviewed do not list Yagachi/YIT or NDRK Institute of Technology; this is a status discrepancy requiring confirmation, not proof of closure or de-affiliation. Search results suggest a possible later NDRK name, but that identity change was not accepted as authoritative evidence.
