Overview
About Western India Institute of Aeronautics (WIIA)
Western India Institute of Aeronautics Pvt. Ltd. is an engineering college in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, established in 2004. Western India Institute of Aeronautics Pvt. Ltd. is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Indus University. Western India Institute of Aeronautics Pvt. Ltd. offers 5 programmes at undergraduate level. They are B.Tech (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering), B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, B.Tech in Aerospace + Ame and B.Tech Defence Aerospace Engineering + Dgca Ame. WIIA is an aviation training institute located at Indus Campus, Rancharda, Ahmedabad 382115. The official WIIA site identifies DGCA-approved aviation programmes and states that B.Tech programmes were introduced; current B.Tech programme pages are published by Indus University/Indus Institute of Aviation Technology and Engineering (IIATE) in association with WIIA. No authoritative 2026-27 AICTE EoA, approved intake, NBA entry, faculty count, attendance rule, or principal qualification was located. The official WIIA site states 10+ specialised labs and lists live aircraft and aviation workshop equipment; this is a facility count, not an AICTE laboratory disclosure. The official WIIA site describes WIIA as a DGCA-approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training institute, not as an AICTE-approved engineering college. Its B.Tech pages state that the degree is awarded/conducted by Indus University and that WIIA provides the aviation-training collaboration. No target-year 2026-27 AICTE EoA, AICTE Permanent ID, AICTE engineering programme row, NBA accreditation, Gujarat ACPC seat-matrix entry, or state fee-order entry for WIIA was found in the official-source checks. Therefore no AICTE engineering approval or intake is recorded. DGCA approval mentioned by WIIA applies to AME courses, not to an AICTE B.E./B.Tech approval. The official pages have differing location wording (about page: Hansol; current contact/association pages: Indus Campus, Rancharda); the current contact address is used.
