About Vivekananda Institute of Indian Studies (VIIS) — SVYM initiative
Vivekananda Institute of Indian Studies is an arts, science and commerce college in Mysuru, Karnataka, established in 2008. VIIS is presented as an SVYM global initiative offering short residential and online immersion, internship and cultural-learning programmes rather than a conventional degree college. The available annual reports are older: 2019-20 and 2022. No 2026-27-specific academic calendar or formal academic regulations were identified. The website lists an Our Team section and course coordinators/advisors but does not publish an aggregate faculty headcount, student-faculty ratio, department structure or PhD total. Official sources describe VIIS as an SVYM global initiative offering customized experiential programmes and collaborations with universities, rather than as a conventional degree college. No target-year-specific affiliation, approvals, NAAC status, UGC autonomous status, NIRF ranking, intake or detailed campus statistics were published.
