Overview
About Sri Vinayaka Agriculture Polytechnic College
Vinayaka Agril. Polytechnic is an agriculture veterinary college in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, established in 2017. It is affiliated to Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University. Vinayaka Agril. Polytechnic offers 2 programmes. They are Diploma in Agriculture and Diploma in Agricultural Engineering. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 70 seats. Official ANGRAU listings identify the institution as Vinayaka Agril. Polytechnic (also listed as Vinayaka Polytechnic of Agriculture), Sodum/Sodham, Chittoor, established in 2017, affiliated to ANGRAU, with Diploma in Agriculture intake of 40. ANGRAU separately lists the same-campus/different-programme institution as Vinayaka Polytechnic of Agricultural Engineering, intake 30; this should not be merged with the agriculture diploma intake. The ANGRAU AGRI POLYCET prospectus confirms both institutions and states Diploma in Agriculture is 2 years and Diploma in Agricultural Engineering is 3 years; its published admission eligibility is SSC pass and age 15–22, with a 120-mark, 2-hour entrance test for the 2022 cycle. No authoritative college-specific principal, faculty totals, research statistics, attendance rule, medium, exam pattern, laboratories, farms, TVCC, KVK, tie-ups, or regulator accreditation entry was located in the reviewed official material. The official ANGRAU homepage presents current admissions as AY 2026-27, but the detailed prospectus evidence is for 2022 and the 40/30 intakes come from ANGRAU’s current undated/currently presented programme listings and 2025 admission material. No independent college website was located. The official ANGRAU affiliated-polytechnics page is the authoritative fallback and identifies the unit as Vinayaka Agril. The input name appears to be a longer variant of the official listing. The official ANGRAU homepage shows an AY 2026-27 admissions area, but the specific college listing opened is presented with 2022-23-era details; no newer college-specific official website or 2026-27 college-specific listing was found. The 40 figure is the ANGRAU-listed intake, not an independently verified 2026-27 seat matrix.
