Overview
About Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women (VMTW)
Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women is an engineering college in Ghatkesar, Telangana, established in 2009. Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women is autonomous. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. Its programmes are approved by AICTE. Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women offers 5 programmes at undergraduate level. They are B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech CSE (AI & ML), B.Tech CSE (Data Science), B.Tech Information Technology and B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 840 seats. VMTW is identified by official college and JNTUH pages as an autonomous, AICTE-approved institution affiliated to JNTUH, established in 2008, at Kondapur (V), Ghatkesar, Medchal/Ranga Reddy area, Telangana. No college-specific faculty total, laboratory count, industry tie-up, funded-project total, patent total, or recognised institutional research-centre count was published in the reviewed pages. The current 2026 admissions page states that the college was established in 2009; the official About Us page states established in August 2008. This is an unresolved official contradiction, so the current-year admissions value is recorded and the 2008 statement is retained here. The college describes itself as autonomous, AICTE approved and JNTUH affiliated.
