TOMS College of Engineering and Polytechnic is a polytechnic in Kottayam, Kerala. TOMS College of Engineering and Polytechnic is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to State Board of Technical Education, Kerala. TOMS College of Engineering and Polytechnic offers 7 programmes. These include Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Automobile Engineering and Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, among others. The Kerala State Board of Technical Education lists the institution as TOMS College of Engineering with institution code 01-00086. The current mandatory disclosure names Joby Joseph as principal, qualified Diploma in ECE, AMIE in ECE and M.E. in Applied Electronics. It states 3-year diploma programmes with 60 seats per programme, divided into 30 management and 30 government quota seats, including Cyber Forensic and Information Security, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Automobile, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The diploma pages also mention Computer Science and Engineering, laboratories and an advanced workshop, but do not provide a laboratory count. No independently stated 2026-27 AICTE EoA details, faculty totals, attendance requirement, medium, exam pattern, research metrics, or formal industry/training MoUs were located in the cited official material; older diploma-page content is dated 2019, while the mandatory-disclosure page is presented as current on the official website. The official site uses both “TOMS College of Engineering and Polytechnic” and “TOMS College of Engineering”; the Kerala 2026-27 diploma list uses “TOMS College of Engineering.” The institution is a private/self-financing polytechnic unit under the Visveswaraya Group of Institutions. The official 2026-27 Kerala list reports six diploma programmes with 60 seats each and a stated total of 210 seats, but the published course-level figures and total are internally inconsistent; no intake has been added as a campus fact. The mandatory disclosure page states NBA eligibility to apply, not NBA accreditation. The 70% figure is the college’s stated hands-on-training model, not a measured campus statistic.
