Overview
About SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tiruchirappalli Campus
SRM TRP Engineering College is an engineering college in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. SRM TRP Engineering College is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. SRM TRP Engineering College offers 2 programmes at undergraduate level. They are B.E. Computer Science and Engineering and B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 480 seats. The 2026 academic-regulations document explicitly applies to students admitted in 2026-27 and states 80% minimum overall attendance. The available mandatory disclosure is for 2024-25; its faculty total is the sum of department-wise counts explicitly reported for this college. Identity corrected: the official college site, mandatory disclosure, Anna University affiliation material and TNEA material identify the unit as SRM TRP Engineering College at Irungalur, not as SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tiruchirappalli Campus. The official mandatory disclosure identifies management by SRM Institute of Medical and Technical Research Trust. TNEA 2026 search evidence uses the suffix “Autonomous,” but no current autonomy order was opened; this is not adopted as the legal name. The 2025-26 Anna University order grants provisional affiliation and states that continuation for 2026-27 requires a further order. AICTE closed and unapproved lists, NBA list and Tamil Nadu fee order were not opened and are not treated as verified.
