About Southern International Hotel Management Academy
Southern International Hotel Management Academy is a hotel mgmt college in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Southern International Hotel Management Academy is privately managed and self-financing. Southern International Hotel Management Academy offers 1 programme at undergraduate level. The programme offered is B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Official SIHMA pages identify the Visakhapatnam campus and list BHM/BHMCT-related hotel-management offerings for 2026-27. The facilities page states six food-production labs (basic, advanced, cold, quality, demonstration, and bakery/confectionery), plus F&B service, housekeeping, front-office and computer labs, and a library; these details cannot be represented as a single reliable total in the required schema. The official about page names B. Kishore Reddy as Principal and gives his hospitality qualifications. The homepage claims 40+ faculty, but no dated, exact institute-level faculty total or rank breakdown was published. The official website uses both SIHMA and Southern International Institute of Management naming for the same Visakhapatnam address. The institute’s official website presents this unit as a private degree college and lists BHM/BHM-CT and other programmes, with 2026-27 admissions described as direct or merit-based. The contact page identifies the legal/group name as Southern Educational Institutions by Ponnam Welfare Association. No official NCHMCT or counselling listing was located in the discovery results; recognition and degree-awarding-body status should therefore be treated as unverified for 2026-27.

B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Technology: not published in the official sources we checked fee status source For 2026-27, SIHMA publishes direct or merit-based admission information and lists BHM/BHM-CT-related hospitality study. The official website article gives only approximate fee ranges (for example, BHM-CT approximately ₹85,000 — ₹95,000 annually and Diploma in Hotel Management approximately ₹95,000 annually), not a formal fee schedule; these figures are therefore not entered as exact fee rows. The same article states that hostel accommodation is available separately for boys and girls, about 2 km from campus, with messing, but publishes no hostel or mess charge. The official site also says scholarships are available, without naming a scheme or stating a benefit. No official 2026-27 information was found for one-time charges, service bond, payment instalments, refund policy, education-loan tie-up, or fee revision.
