Overview
About Sobhasaria Engineering College
Sobhasaria Engineering College is an engineering college in Sikar, Rajasthan, established in 1999. Sobhasaria Engineering College is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner. Sobhasaria Engineering College offers 11 programmes, 8 at undergraduate level and 3 at postgraduate level. These include Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (AI & ML), Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security), Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) and Civil Engineering, among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 414 seats. Official pages identify the unit as Sobhasaria Engineering College under Sobhasaria Group of Institutions, NH-52, Gokulpura, Sikar, Rajasthan 332021. The engineering unit is AICTE-approved and affiliated with Bikaner Technical University (BTU); the official courses page reports current engineering offerings and a total B.Tech intake of 360, but the 2026-27 EoA repository entry has no accessible download, so no 2026-27 application number, Permanent ID, course-wise intake or approval status is recorded here. The official facilities page names a central library, sports facilities, gymnasium and training ground, while the 2025-26 brochure describes a 38-acre campus, computer centre, classrooms, laboratories and hostels without a college-specific laboratory count. Research evidence is descriptive and includes engineering publications and activities; no college-specific patent total, funded-project total or recognised research-centre status was published in the reviewed official material. The resolved unit is the engineering college within Sobhasaria Group of Institutions, not the group's separate general college or law school. The official site reports 38 acres; its home-page student figure is stated as 2000+ and is a group/campus figure, not engineering-only enrollment. The official courses page lists B.Tech branches and intakes, but does not label them as a target-year regulator intake table.
