Overview

About Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University

Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University is an university in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, established in 2009. Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University. Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University offers 12 programmes, 6 at undergraduate level and 3 at postgraduate level. These include Institute of Pharmacy: B.Pharm (UG), Institute of Pharmacy: M.Pharm (PG), Institute of Engineering: B.Tech (UG), Institute of Engineering: M.Tech (PG) and Institute of Computer Science and Information Technology: BCA (UG), among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 121 seats. Shri JJT University is a Rajasthan state private university established under the Rajasthan state legislature's 2009 Act and described by its official website as UGC-recognized under Section 22. Current official pages expose staff lists for 2025-26 and mandatory-disclosure files, but no university-wide faculty totals were explicitly available in the reviewed evidence. The university's official Ph.D. guideline confirms doctoral programmes and research infrastructure. UGC's current pages reviewed through August 2026 do not list this university in the February 2026 Fake Universities list or the List of Defaulter State (Private) Universities. Separately, UGC lists JJTU in its August 2026 List of HEIs not Following Ph.D Regulations and debars Ph.D. enrolment for 2025-26 through 2029-30; this is an adverse Ph.D.-regulation action, not a fake-university finding. The current UGC regulator page prints pincode 333001; the university website prints 333010, so the current regulator value is used. No NIRF university rank is recorded here: the official NIRF 2025 University ranking page does not contain JJTU. The university's own website states that it was established by a Rajasthan state-legislature Act in 2009 and identifies Rajasthani Sewa Sangh as the founding trust; no unsupported campus, enrolment, faculty, NAAC, NBA, 12(B), DEB, or affiliated-college figures are added.
