About Sasurie College of Engineering

Sasurie College of Engineering is an engineering college in Vijayamangalam, Tamil Nadu, established in 2001. Sasurie College of Engineering is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Sasurie College of Engineering offers 8 programmes at undergraduate level. These include B.E. Civil Engineering, B.E. Computer Science and Engineering, B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering and B.E. Mechanical Engineering, among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 540 seats. Official website currently presents the institution as Sasurie College of Engineering (Autonomous), established in 2001 by Ponmudi Muthusamy Gounder Trust, with UGC/Anna University autonomous status and programmes under Anna University guidelines. Anna University's affiliated-college listing identifies examination code 7324 and TNEA counselling code 2717. The older Anna University institutional profile (2023-24) names Dr. M. Vijayakumar as principal; the college's February 2026 governing-body document names Dr. R. Kiruba Shankar as principal, so the latter is used as the current principal. No target-year 2026-27 AICTE EoA course table, NBA programme-validity entry, dated faculty totals, attendance threshold, medium or exam pattern was established from the reviewed official sources. NIRF 2024 reports sanctioned intake of 540 UG and 60 PG and consultancy income of 583000 in 2022-23, but these figures are not represented in this schema. The official Anna University affiliated-college listing confirms examination code 7324 and TNEA counselling code 2717. The 2025 NIRF Engineering ranking page was checked and does not provide a direct matching entry for Sasurie College of Engineering; therefore no NIRF rank or participation is recorded. The official college material uses both sasurie.com and sasurieengg.com; the latter is used as the unit website because its documents name this college.
