Overview
About Sardar Raja College of Engineering
Sardar Raja College of Engineering is an engineering college in Alangulam, Tamil Nadu, established in 2000. Sardar Raja College of Engineering is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Sardar Raja College of Engineering offers 8 programmes, 6 at undergraduate level and 3 at postgraduate level. These include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engg and Mechanical Engineering, among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 288 seats. The official site states affiliation to Anna University and admissions open for 2026-27. AICTE identity evidence available for 2025-26: Permanent ID 1-2894011 and Application No. The input city Chennai is inconsistent with the official campus address; the resolved campus is in Alangulam, Tenkasi district, Tamil Nadu. The official Anna University directory explicitly states examination/university code 9527 and TNEA counselling code 4968. The checked TNEA 2026 General Academic Seat Matrix PDF does not contain the college name or either code, so no seat-matrix figure or positive seat-matrix listing is carried forward from that document. The college site says admissions for 2026-27 are open and describes DoTE/Tamil Nadu common-merit-list admissions, but no 2026-27 intake or fee figure is asserted here. The mandatory disclosure reports no NBA accreditation, no NIRF rank and no UGC Sections 2(f)/12(B) inclusion.
