About Rajamahendri Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET)
Rajamahendri Institute of Engineering and Technology is an engineering college in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, established in 2008. Rajamahendri Institute of Engineering and Technology is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Rajamahendri Institute of Engineering and Technology offers 8 programmes at undergraduate level. These include Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communications Engineering, among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 660 seats. Official RIET sources identify the institution as a private, self-financing engineering college established in 2008, affiliated with JNTUK and sponsored by Swarnandhra Educational Society. The available official AICTE compilation provides 2025-26 approval evidence, not a target-year 2026-27 EoA. Its 2025-26 listed engineering intakes are CSE 240, CSE-AI/ML 120, CSE-Data Science 60, EEE 30, ECE 120 and Mechanical 30; these figures are not projected into 2026-27. The principal page names Dr. M. Sridhar, Ph.D. The AQAR faculty total and Ph.D. count are historical (2021-22). The principal page reports approximately 100 guided student projects, one Ph.D. supervised under JNTUK and 18 technical papers, but these are not entered as formal institution-wide research counts. The official site and latest retrieved AICTE EoA support the identity, private self-financing status, Swarnandhra Educational Society sponsorship, 2008 establishment year and JNTUK affiliation. The latest official EoA located is for 2025-26; no 2026-27 EoA was located, so target-year approval/intake is not asserted.
