Overview
About Raipur Institute of Technology
Raipur Institute of Technology is an engineering college in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, established in 1995. Raipur Institute of Technology is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. Raipur Institute of Technology offers 1 programme at undergraduate level. The programme offered is B.Tech CSE Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 60 seats. The 2025-26 EoA lists approved engineering programmes and states that Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, CSE, CSE AI/ML, CSE AI, CSE Data Science, EEE, IT and Mechanical were approved; Electronics and Telecommunications was applied for closure pending NOC. research centres. The CSVTU Ph.D. programme document specifically names RITEE as a research centre in Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Chemistry and Management. Parent hospital and clinical tie-ups are not applicable to this engineering college. The official site uses both Raipur Institute of Technology and RITEE/RIT. The retrieved AICTE EoA is for 2025-26, not the target 2026-27; therefore 2026-27 course-level approval and intake are not asserted here. The 2025-26 EoA lists some branches as pending closure (Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Energy Management, and Thermal Engineering); this is course-specific and not evidence that the college is closed. A CSVTU affiliated-colleges PDF was opened and lists the institution under Private Engineering & Management Institute, but does not print a college code or affiliation year.
