Overview
About Puran Murti Vidyapeeth
Puran Murti Vidyapeeth is an institution in Sonepat, Haryana. Puran Murti Vidyapeeth offers 17 programmes, 7 at undergraduate level and 3 at postgraduate level. These include Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA), among others. Its programmes are affiliated to named universities and HSBTE; the official approvals page states Section 2(f) UGC recognition, but no authoritative UGC university-list row naming Puran Murti Vidyapeeth as a university was found. Dr. Vijay Pal Nain is identified as President cum Director, not explicitly as Vice-Chancellor or Principal. Puran Murti Vidyapeeth is presented by its official site as a group-campus and a unit of Puran Murti Educational Society, not as an independently verified degree-awarding university. Its engineering/management, pharmacy and law institutions have separate affiliation and approval scopes. DCRUST code 017 describes PM Institute of Technology and Management, while pharmacy and law use their own named awarding universities. Puran Murti College of Pharmacy is a separately named constituent college, not the identity of the whole campus. The master label says university, but the official site presents Puran Murti Vidyapeeth as an institute/campus and a unit of Puran Murti Educational Society, not as a central, state, state-private or deemed university. The site claims UGC Section 2(f), AICTE/DTE/HSBTE, PCI and BCI status; the UGC claim was not independently matched to an exact UGC university row. No exact UGC row, Act, notification or campus approval naming this institution was located. DCRUST applies to the main engineering/management unit only; Pharmacy separately names Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences and Law separately names Maharshi Dayanand University-Rohtak. DCRUST's list prints code 017 for PM Institute of Tech. & Management at the Puran Murti URL. No 2026-27 session/intake, AISHE/NIRF/NAAC identifier, establishment year or exact campus metric was published. CPJIMT, IIMS and M.I.P.S. are separately addressed associates and are not merged.
