Overview
About PES Polytechnic
PES Polytechnic is a polytechnic in Bengaluru, Karnataka, established in 1972. It is affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Karnataka. PES Polytechnic offers 4 programmes. They are Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Official PES Polytechnic pages identify the institution at 50 Feet Road, Hanumanth Nagar, Bengaluru 560050, affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Karnataka, offering three-year diplomas. The official AY 2026-27 intake page lists Diploma in Computer Science Engineering (120 seats), Electronics & Communication Engineering (60), and Automobile Engineering (60), with admission by contacting the campus. The website home page also mentions Mechanical Engineering, but the programme and 2026-27 intake pages do not list it; this was not treated as a current 2026-27 programme. No official target-session AICTE EoA, state board institution code, exact laboratory count, academic regulations, attendance rule, research metrics, or named industry tie-up was located in the cited official pages. The college website is currently presented as the PES Polytechnic site; the supplied hncampus.pes.edu URL was under maintenance. The college's current official pages identify this unit as PES Polytechnic at Hanumanth Nagar and state affiliation with the Board of Technical Education, Karnataka. The official PES 2026-27 intake page lists diploma seats for the Hanumanth Nagar Campus, but those are college-published available seats and are not treated as regulator-sanctioned intake. No target-session AICTE Extension of Approval, AICTE Permanent ID, Karnataka DTE/technical-board institution code, state counselling seat-matrix entry, fee notification, or NBA accreditation was located in the official pages opened. The AICTE Karnataka approved-institution PDF and AICTE institute list opened contained no PES Polytechnic or PES University Hanumanth Nagar entry; those documents were not target-session EoAs, so they do not establish current approval. The separate PES Polytechnic Shivamogga pages were excluded as a different campus. The PESU intake page gives a general PES University address (100 Feet Ring Road), while the unit-specific PES Polytechnic contact page gives 50 Feet Road, Hanumanth Nagar; the unit-specific address is retained.
