Parul University was formally established in 2015 under the Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2009. Its institution-building lineage in Vadodara dates back to 1993 with the founding of the Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology by the Parul Arogya Seva Mandal (PASM), a registered charitable trust that has grown the campus over more than three decades.
