Overview
About NIFD Global Borivali
NIF Global Mumbai Borivali is a design college in Mumbai, Maharashtra. NIF Global Mumbai Borivali is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim. NIF Global Mumbai Borivali offers 4 programmes. They are UG Certificate in Fashion Design, Certificate Professional Program in Interior Design, UG Diploma in Fashion Design and Diploma in Interior Design. NIF Global Mumbai Borivali is the former NIFD Global/NIF Global Borivali centre at Gokul Shopping Mall, Borivali (West), Mumbai. The official site states that the centre offers certificate, diploma, B.Voc and B.Design/B.Des pathways in fashion and interior design. It states 10+2 with 50% aggregate and first-come, first-served admission for the B.Des fashion-design page, with no entrance examination. The site identifies Maharashtra State Board of Skill Development/Maharashtra Board of Vocational Examination for certificates and diplomas, and separately describes collaboration with Medhavi Skills University; no campus-specific UGC listing or degree-awarding confirmation was established from the reviewed official pages. The faculty page names staff but does not provide a dated total or rank-wise faculty count. No official attendance, medium, exam-pattern, research, principal qualification, studio count, workstation count or library-volume figures were published in the reviewed pages. The brochure identifies Mrs. Tanbeer Bhatia as Director, NIF South Mumbai and NIF Borivali; this is recorded as the centre director rather than a principal. Private design institute/franchise-centre-style campus. The official site describes fashion and interior design certifications and programmes, and states that selected postgraduate M.Voc programmes are affiliated with Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim, which handles theory while NIF Global handles practical training. The official site separately states that Bhagirathi Learning Solutions LLP, described as part of the network, is affiliated with Maharashtra State Board of Skill Development for certification programmes; this is not evidence that the institute is a degree-awarding university. No official evidence was found for an Act-institute status, UCEED/CEED participation, NAAC/NBA accreditation, NIRF ranking, AICTE identity, or a 2026-27 regulator seat matrix. The site claims B.Des and other programmes, but the degree-awarding body and campus-level approval were not independently established for every programme.
