Overview
About Nehru College of Physiotherapy
Nehru College of Physiotherapy is an allied health college in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Nehru College of Physiotherapy offers 1 programme at undergraduate level. The programme offered is Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT). The college site states Government of Tamil Nadu approval and affiliation to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, and names Dr. V. Vijayaraj, M.P.T., Ph.D. as principal. The official pages show two addresses: the group/corporate address at #451-D, Palakkad Road, Kuniamuthur, and the physiotherapy campus at Nehru Gardens, TM Palayam, Coimbatore 641105; the latter is the college-site campus address. No college-specific dated faculty totals, research metrics, academic regulations, or named clinical/industry tie-ups were published in the reviewed official sources. The college's own official site states that it is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu, but the current university affiliated-institutions page opened for verification does not list Nehru College of Physiotherapy. The university affiliation is therefore left unresolved rather than treated as confirmed. No official regulator page with a college-specific programme approval status and source was found. The college page says NEET is mandatory for BPT, but this was not used as a 2026-27 route value because the current prospectus does not state it for this college.
