About MVM College of Physiotherapy
MVM College of Physiotherapy is an allied health college in Bengaluru, Karnataka. MVM College of Physiotherapy is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. MVM College of Physiotherapy offers 2 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 7 at postgraduate level. They are Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT). The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 81 seats. Official sources identify MVM College of Physiotherapy at Yelahanka, Bengaluru, affiliated with RGUHS. The official RGUHS notification confirms continuation of MPT affiliation for 2025-26 and increases BPT intake from 40 to 60 seats from 2025-26; it lists seven MPT specialties with 3 seats each. The college website separately advertises approximately 40 BPT seats, so the RGUHS notification is the stronger and newer intake evidence. Vagus Super Speciality Hospital is described by the college as its own teaching hospital; no bed count, accreditation, MoU validity, or distance was published in the reviewed official sources. Faculty totals and rank counts are derived from the names and titles displayed on the undated faculty page; no dated institutional faculty census, PhD count, or student-faculty ratio was published. Research is described qualitatively on the college site, but no supported numerical research metrics were published. The RGUHS evidence opened covers 2025-26, not 2026-27; therefore current 2026-27 affiliation, intake and counselling status are not independently confirmed here. RGUHS lists the college as PT88 and its 2025-26 notification grants continuation of affiliation for MPT and increases BPT intake from 40 to 60. The college website identifies Vagus Super Speciality Hospital in Malleswaram as its teaching hospital.
