It is affiliated to MIT Vishwaprayag University, Solapur. MIT Vishwaprayag University, Solapur offers 9 programmes, 6 at undergraduate level and 4 at postgraduate level. These include School of Design: 3 programmes (UG), School of Design: 1 programme (PG), School of Pharmacy: 1 programme (UG), School of Computing: 5 programmes (UG) and School of Computing: 1 programme (PG), among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 60 seats. MIT Vishwaprayag University, Solapur is a Maharashtra state private, non-affiliating university established under Maharashtra Act No. XXXVIII of 2023; the Act places its headquarters at Kegaon, Solapur, Maharashtra 413255. The university website identifies Prof. Gopalkrishna Joshi as Founding Vice-Chancellor. The website lists schools of Design, Pharmacy, Computing, Business and Liberal Education, and describes project-based learning, labs and internships, but does not publish university-wide faculty totals, examination pattern, medium of instruction or attendance requirements in the reviewed pages. The School of Computing page lists 18 named personnel, but this is a school-level listing and is not used as a university-wide faculty total. The Act authorizes research degrees and requires NAAC accreditation within three years of establishment, but no current NAAC grade or explicit operating PhD-centre evidence was found. No specifically named clinical tie-up or industry MoU was found in the reviewed official pages. Current 2026-27 information is limited; admissions pages are presented as current for 2026. The Maharashtra Act establishes this as a non-affiliating state private university and names Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research, Pune (MAEER) as the sponsoring public trust. The current UGC HEIs Violating Regulations page lists MIT Vishwaprayaag University, Solapur as a defaulter for not appointing an Ombudsperson under the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023; this is a regulatory-compliance default, not a fake-university listing. The UGC fake-universities page states that the university is not included.
