About Meenakshi Ramaswamy Group of Institutions
Meenakshi Ramaswamy Group of Institutions is an institution in Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu. This page identifies Meenakshi Ramaswamy Group of Institutions as an educational group or trust, not as its member Meenakshi Ramasamy Arts and Science College or a degree-awarding university. The official group portal lists engineering, arts and science, education, teacher training and polytechnic institutions. The member arts-college director page also identifies the group and its Thathanur trust location. The arts-college programmes and affiliation remain specific to that member. The official site lists UG, PG and diploma programmes and states that admissions follow Directorate of Collegiate Education and Bharathidasan University guidelines. The group’s other units include engineering, college of education, teacher-training and polytechnic institutions; their approvals, facilities and faculty were not attributed here. No official, institution-specific faculty totals, research metrics, attendance percentage, medium of instruction, exam pattern, industry MoUs, clinical/training tie-ups or laboratory count were published in the reviewed pages. The official site also contains inconsistent historical wording about affiliation; a separate official general-information page names Bharathidasan University for admissions, but no current university affiliation-list row was located. Resolved to the separate teaching unit Meenakshi Ramasamy Arts & Science College, not the Meenachi Ramasamy Educational Trust/group umbrella. The college site states that it is affiliated with Bharathidasan University and lists UG, PG, diploma and Ph.D. offerings. The college site has an identity/date inconsistency: its About page claims 2009 in one heading but also attributes 2000-2001 to the trust; the homepage says the Arts & Science College started in 2000. The 2009 statement appears to concern the sibling engineering college, so the supported college establishment year is recorded as 2000 from the college's own general-information/homepage material. AISHE information found in the directory result identifies this exact unit as an affiliated, private unaided college (AISHE C-35823), but the AISHE directory page itself was not an official government page and is not used for additional figures. No programme-specific intake, fees, rankings, NAAC grade, campus metrics or regulator approval numbers are retained. The college site names sibling/group units including Meenakshi Ramaswamy Engineering College, a polytechnic, teacher-training institute, College of Education, hotel-management school, physical-education college and industrial school; their data is not merged here.
