LPU runs the largest on-campus hostel system among Indian engineering institutions on its 600-acre Phagwara campus. First-year B.Tech students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms with double and single occupancy from the second year by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 broadly fall in the ₹1,30,000-2,00,000 range inclusive of mess, with AC and premium-room blocks priced higher.
Scholarships
LPU runs an aggressive merit-and-need scholarship programme. Top LPUNEST rankers receive 100% tuition waiver per the published matrix. JEE Main top performers receive similar concessions. Top Class XII Board scorers (95%+ in PCM) qualify for additional concessions. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme.
