About Lakhotia College of Design

Lakhotia College of Design is a design college in Hyderabad, Telangana. Lakhotia College of Design is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University. Lakhotia College of Design offers 1 programme at undergraduate level. The programme offered is B.A. Hons in Fashion Design. Official pages identify Lakhotia College of Design as a unit of A3G Lakhotia Educational Society with campuses in Banjara Hills, Abids and Tarnaka, Hyderabad. The college website also advertises other diplomas, certificates and international/regular programmes, but the awarding-body claims are not uniform: its 2025 admissions page states Lakhotia College of Design as awarding body for listed programmes, while its FAQ states JNAFAU affiliation and a College De Paris partnership. The target year is 2026-27; the official site shows 2026 admissions, but some detailed pages remain labelled 2025. Affiliated design college for the JNAFAU-listed B.A. (Honours) Design specializations Interior Design and Fashion Design. The institution's website separately identifies diploma/advanced diploma and other offerings as awarded by Lakhotia College of Design, not as JNAFAU degrees. Official pages conflict on establishment: the home page claims inception/establishment in 1990, while the legacy page claims inception in 1997; therefore no year is recorded. No official evidence was found for a NAAC grade, NBA programme, NIRF rank, statutory design-institute status, or institute code.
