Overview
About Crimson Institute of Technology
Jayaprakash Narayan Engineering College is an engineering college in Hyderabad, Telangana, established in 2005. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Its programmes are approved by AICTE. Jayaprakash Narayan Engineering College offers 4 programmes at undergraduate level. They are Computer Science and Engineering, CSE (Data Science), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) and CSE (AIML). The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 420 seats. The input master name resolves to Jayaprakash Narayan Engineering College (JPNEC), formerly Crimson Institute of Technology, at Moghal Campus, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad. The official site states affiliation to JNTUH and AICTE approval, and lists B.Tech course-wise annual intakes of CSE 180, CSE (Data Science) 60, AIML 60, and CSE (AIML) 120; these figures are not independently treated as target-year 2026-27 AICTE sanctioned intakes because the retrieved official approval page exposes 2025-26 documentation, not a 2026-27 EoA. The site describes curriculum-required laboratories, a library with over 10,000 volumes and 1,500 titles, digital library facilities, and nearby private hostel collaborations, but does not state a laboratory count in the retrieved material. Dr. S. Shyam Kumar is identified as principal, with B.Tech, M.E. and PhD qualifications. The site's generic statement of collaboration with 80+ companies is not converted into named industry-tieup rows. No 2026-27 intake or programme-level approval figures are reported.
