About IIHM Institute of Hospitality Skills (IIHS), Guwahati
IIHM Institute of Hospitality Skills (IIHS), Guwahati is a hospitality skills training institute in Guwahati, Assam. IIHM Institute of Hospitality Skills (IIHS), Guwahati offers 3 programmes. They are Diploma in Luxury Hotel & Hospitality Operations, Conference Event Planner and Hotel Night Auditing. The official 2026 brochure identifies the Guwahati campus as IIHS Guwahati, H/N 20, 6 Mile Narengi Expressway, VIP Road, near Pratiksha Hospital, Guwahati, Assam 781036. It describes 6-, 9- and 12-month hospitality courses, including campus training and industrial/on-job training at luxury five-star properties in India or abroad. An industrial kitchen and hands-on training are referenced, but no exact room count or laboratory count is published. The official material cites THSC, Skill India, Sikkim Skill University and NSDC affiliations; these are not treated here as statutory degree recognition. No institute-specific principal, dated faculty totals, research metrics, examination pattern, medium of instruction or attendance minimum was published in the reviewed official pages. No named hotel partner was published, so no tie-up row is recorded. Course and eligibility details vary by programme: the 2026 brochure states Class 10 with English and minimum age 16 for admission generally, while the one-year-course page states minimum age 18. This is a professional hospitality/culinary skills-training provider. Advertised certificate, diploma and progression offerings retain their source wording; skill-sector, industry or ISO relationships do not establish a university degree or NCHMCT/AICTE programme approval. The institute's 2026 brochure and website describe IIHS as a vocational/skill-based training centre, not an NCHMCT or AICTE college. The official site mentions THSC, Skill India, NSDC and Sikkim Skill University affiliations/associations; these are not, by themselves, regulator recognition for an NCHMCT degree or AICTE HMCT programme. No current NCHMCT course/list or 2026 NCHM counselling seat-matrix entry naming IIHS Guwahati was found. No sourced degree-awarding university affiliation was found. The Guwahati address is distinct from the separately listed government IHM Guwahati.
