Computer Science and its AI/Data Science/Cybersecurity specialisations sit at the upper end, while core engineering branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Aeronautical and Automobile are in the ₹2.5-3 lakh band. How do I apply to HITS Chennai B.Tech through HITSEEE?

Pay the ~₹950 application fee, choose a test slot between January and May, and sit the 2-hour online proctored test covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with an English/aptitude section. Shortlisted candidates are called for branch-choice counselling in a rank-wise slot system. JEE Main scorers and TN Diploma lateral-entry candidates can apply on parallel tracks without taking HITSEEE.
What is the eligibility for HITS Chennai B.Tech admission?
Candidates must have passed (or be appearing in) the 10+2 examination from a recognised board with Physics, Mathematics and one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Computer Science as the fourth subject. A minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM/PCB is required. There is no state-domicile restriction — HITS admits students from all Indian states and NRI/foreign national categories.
