Overview
About Ganpat University - Goa Campus
Ganpat University Goa is an university in Panaji, Goa. Its programmes are approved by AICTE. Ganpat University Goa offers 5 programmes, 3 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. They are Faculty of Engineering & Technology: B.Tech programmes (UG), Faculty of Management Studies: BBA programmes (UG), Faculty of Management Studies: MBA programmes (PG), Faculty of Maritime Studies: B.Tech and B.Sc programmes (UG) and Faculty of Maritime Studies: Diploma programmes (Diploma). For the 2026-27 cycle, the official Goa website presents Ganpat University Goa as a proposed/new campus of Ganpat & Manju Foundation in Patto, Panjim, and advertises admissions. It does not state a separate legal incorporation, Goa State Act, UGC recognition, campus-specific affiliation, or programme approval. The official UGC evidence located lists Ganpat University at Mehsana, Gujarat, not Ganpat University Goa. Parent-university recognition under Gujarat Act No. 19 of 2005 and UGC Section 2(f) must not be attributed to this Goa campus. The Goa site explicitly names a B.Tech Computer Science Engineering programme in association with IBM and mentions research labs, but publishes no named faculty or principal, faculty totals, research metrics, academic regulations, attendance rule, medium, examination pattern, hospital, clinical posting site, or additional industry MoUs. The site describes the programme's eligibility as 45% for open-category or 40% for reserved-category candidates in specified PCM/Computer subjects; that information is outside this schema. The college site describes this unit as a “Proposed Campus” and an initiative of Ganpat & Manju Foundation, while also using university language. The UGC consolidated list likewise identifies the Gujarat university, not this Goa unit. No official Goa Act, UGC campus approval, AISHE entry, NIRF entry, or current statutory-regulator recognition naming this Goa campus was located. Accordingly, no university recognition, establishment year, ranking, accreditation, intake, campus area, or other disputed numerical claims are carried forward. The Goa site’s 2026-27 admissions claims remain institutional claims and are not treated as regulator recognition.
