About Dr Syamala Reddy Institute of Physiotherapy
Dr. Syamala Reddy College of Physiotherapy is an allied health college in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Dr. Syamala Reddy College of Physiotherapy is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Dr. Syamala Reddy College of Physiotherapy offers 1 programme at undergraduate level. The programme offered is Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT). The official physiotherapy page identifies the unit as Dr. Syamala Reddy College/Institute of Physiotherapy, Bengaluru, offering BPT, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognised by the Government of Karnataka. It explicitly lists a physiotherapy laboratory. The page's programme information is dated 2021-22, while the broader site contains inconsistent duration/currentness claims; no reliable 2026-27-specific details were published in the reviewed official material. The college's official physiotherapy page states that it offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), is recognised by the Government of Karnataka, and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. However, the current RGUHS List of Physiotherapy colleges affiliated for academic year 2025-26 was opened and does not contain Dr Syamala Reddy among its 169 entries; therefore no current university-list recognition, college code, or 2025-26 affiliation is confirmed. The Government of Karnataka recognition statement is a college claim and was not matched to a separate state permission/list page in the available evidence. The official page presents a historical admission heading for 2021-22; no current 2026-27 approval or seat matrix was established.
