About Devaki Amma's Guruvayurappan College of Architecture Chelambra
Devaki Amma’s Guruvayurappan College of Architecture is an architecture college in Chelembra, Kerala. Devaki Amma’s Guruvayurappan College of Architecture is privately managed and self-financing. Devaki Amma’s Guruvayurappan College of Architecture offers 1 programme at undergraduate level. The programme offered is Bachelor of Architecture. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 40 seats. Official sources identify this as the standalone Devaki Amma's Guruvayurappan College of Architecture (DGCOA), Chelembra, established in 2010, approved by the Council of Architecture and affiliated with the University of Calicut. The COA PG status page lists KL07 M.Arch (Landscape Architecture), commencement 2019, status for 2026-2027; the college page describes the M.Arch as a two-year, four-semester course. COA's diploma list separately lists KL07 Diploma in Architecture, 40 seats, 2024-2025; this is a separate programme and year. Official facilities page names a computing lab, library, classrooms, halls, hostel, cafeteria and transport, but does not state a lab count. No official, unit-scoped figures were found for faculty totals, attendance, medium, exam pattern, research metrics or industry tie-ups. Parent hospital is not applicable to this architecture institution. Current college B.Arch/M.Arch pages and the 2025-30 college prospectus state affiliation to the University of Calicut, which is used as the current degree-awarding affiliation. The COA UG 2026 approval list instead prints “State Board Of Technical Education, Kerala” as the affiliating body for code KL07; this unresolved official-source contradiction is retained rather than silently ignored. The college is managed by Devaki Amma Memorial Trust.
