About Dasmesh College of Physiotherapy

Dasmesh College of Physiotherapy is an allied health college in Faridkot, Punjab, established in 2011. Dasmesh College of Physiotherapy is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Dasmesh College of Physiotherapy offers 2 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. They are B.P.T. (Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy) and M.P.T. (Master’s of Physiotherapy). The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 4 seats. The official website identifies the institution as Dasmesh College of Physiotherapy, Talwandi Road, Faridkot, established in 2011 under Sangat Sahib Bhai Pheru Sikh Educational Society. It publishes BPT and MPT (Orthopedics); the MPT page states an intake capacity of 4 seats. The website does not publish supported figures for attendance, examination pattern, medium of instruction, research outputs, patents, funded projects, or a dated faculty total. The faculty total above is a count of the named college academic staff categories on the current faculty page: 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 5 assistant professors and 3 demonstrators; additional visiting/basic-science staff are listed but not included in that total. The BPT page contains course eligibility information, including 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (40% for SC/OBC), but this is not an attendance figure. The college website identifies BPT and MPT (Orthopedics) programmes and states affiliation with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. The BFUHS 2026-27 BPT admission notice was located, but an exact Dasmesh College of Physiotherapy entry or college code was not confirmed in the accessible results. The sponsoring society's site names Dasmesh Multispecialty Hospital as a 100-bed hospital; that is a parent-hospital fact, not a college bed count. Current target-year recognition, accreditation and counselling-seat status should be confirmed with BFUHS before publication.

Dasmesh College of Physiotherapy admissions

The college's official courses page provides BPT and MPT admission-form links and lists the programme eligibility.
