Overview
About Brindavan Institute of Technology and Science (BITS Kurnool)
Brindavan Institute of Technology and Science is an engineering college in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, established in 2008. Brindavan Institute of Technology and Science is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapuramu. Brindavan Institute of Technology and Science offers 6 programmes, 5 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. These include B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering, B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering, B.Tech Civil Engineering, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering and B.Tech Electrical & Electronics Engineering, among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 360 seats. Official college sources identify the institution as a private, self-financed, non-minority, co-educational engineering college at Peddatekur, Kurnool, affiliated with JNTUA. The official mandatory disclosure dated 24 January 2026 lists 2025-26 programmes, not a target-year 2026-27 AICTE EoA. The current principal webpage names Dr. R. Ramesh Reddy, while the mandatory-disclosure PDF names Dr. S. Ramesh Reddy; this unresolved discrepancy is retained. The college website lists laboratories but does not state a reliable total laboratory count, faculty totals, medium of instruction, or a minimum attendance percentage. No engineering parent hospital or clinical tie-ups apply. The institution's official mandatory disclosure dated 24 January 2026 states 2025-26 affiliation, but the retrieved AICTE EoA document is for 2022-23; no target-year 2026-27 AICTE EoA, approved intake table, counselling seat matrix or fee order was verified in the retrieved sources. The college website reports the campus as adjacent to NH-7 and 11 km from Kurnool town.
