BMSCE admits B.E. seats through KCET (~70%, given private-aided status with higher state quota), COMEDK UGET (~10-15%) and management/NRI quota (~15-20%). KCET 2024 General Merit closing ranks were approximately CSE 600-1100, ISE 1500-2200, ECE 2500-4000, EEE 5000-7500, Mechanical 7500-11000, Civil 12000-15000. COMEDK closing ranks for CSE GM hovered around 1500-3000. Carry to verification: 10th and 12th marksheets, transfer certificate, conduct certificate, KEA allotment slip, COMEDK rank card if applicable, Aadhaar, six passport photos and 371-J domicile certificate for Hyderabad-Karnataka quota students. The first-year fee is paid by NEFT or DD within seven days of seat confirmation. Application is via the KEA portal for KCET seats and comedk.org for COMEDK seats. NRI and foreign-national admissions go through bmsce.ac.in. As a private-aided institute the KCET fee structure is materially lower than fully-private deemed peers — a real cost advantage.
