Overview
About Bhava Institute of Medical Science and Research (BIMSR)
Bhava Institute of Medical Science & Research is an allied health college in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Bhava Institute of Medical Science & Research is privately managed and self-financing. Bhava Institute of Medical Science & Research offers 2 programmes. They are Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (Dmrt) and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (Dmlt). The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 40 seats. Official Odisha DMET material identifies “Bhava Institute of Medical Science & Research” at 1480, IRC Village, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar 751015 in the government-approved DMLT/DMRT institution material; the 2022-23 private nursing-institution list also identifies the same institution/address. These are regulator-list identity/recognition references, not evidence of current 2026-27 intake. The affiliating-university claim of historical affiliation with Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) could not be corroborated on an accessible current OUAT affiliated-college page. The official Odisha nursing lists identify the institution at this address, but the retrieved authoritative evidence covers ANM/GNM rather than a distinct allied-health programme or a current 2026-27 allied-health recognition. Do not treat directory-only claims of OUAT affiliation, establishment year, approvals or BPT recognition as verified.
