About BIS College of Engineering and Technology
B.I.S. College of Engineering & Technology is an engineering college in Moga, Punjab. B.I.S. College of Engineering & Technology is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. B.I.S. College of Engineering & Technology offers 5 programmes, 4 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. They are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engg, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Master of Business Administration. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 120 seats. Official sources identify the unit as B.I.S. College of Engineering & Technology (BISCET), Gagra, Moga, affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University and AICTE-approved. The college website states a 14-acre campus, laboratories/workshops, computer centre with Wi-Fi, library and male/female hostels, but does not publish exact laboratory or hostel counts. The faculty page lists Dr. Jarnail Singh as Principal (M.Tech, Ph.D.) and 20 additional faculty members. The resolved unit is the engineering college, distinct from the group's pharmacy, sciences and polytechnic units. The official sources opened document AICTE approval and IKGPTU affiliation for 2025-26; no authoritative 2026-27 EoA was located, so 2025-26 approval figures must not be treated as 2026-27 figures. The group website states that the B.I.S. Group was established in 1996, but that is not evidence of this college's establishment year. AICTE EoA 2025-26 lists Civil Engineering 30, Computer Science and Engineering 30, Electronics & Communication Engineering 15 with an intake-reduction note, Mechanical Engineering 30, and MBA 60; these course figures are not included as campus facts because they are programme approval data.
