Overview
About Asian Institute of Design
Asian Institute of Design is a design college in Bengaluru, Karnataka, established in 2008. Asian Institute of Design is privately managed and self-financing. Asian Institute of Design offers 8 programmes. These include Advanced Diploma in Product Design, Professional Diploma In Multimedia, Advanced Diploma in Visual Effects, Certificate in Visual Design with Ui/Ux and Certificate in Motion Graphic Design and Photography, among others. Asian Institute of Design (AID) is a Bengaluru design, gaming and animation institute established in 2008. Its official website lists certificate, diploma and degree-linked programmes. The degree programmes are explicitly delivered in partnership with external universities, including JECRC University and Yenepoya University; the official pages do not establish AID itself as a degree-awarding university. Current official pages state digital classrooms, computer labs, Wi-Fi, recreational zones and a gaming area, but do not publish the requested numeric design-campus metrics, faculty totals, principal, attendance rule, examination pattern, medium of instruction or research figures. The 2026-27 status should therefore be treated as based on currently presented official website information, not a published 2026-27 prospectus. Private design institute and partner institution; its own website states that degree programmes are delivered through university partners, so no single degree-awarding university is assigned here. The site identifies JECRC University for B.Des in Game Art and Animation and Yenepoya University for BVA in Game Art and Animation. AID was founded as Asian Institute of Gaming & Animation and rebranded in 2017. Facility rows are qualitative claims only; no numeric campus figures were published.
