Overview
About Arunai Engineering College (Autonomous)
Arunai Engineering College (Autonomous) is an engineering college in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. Arunai Engineering College (Autonomous) is autonomous. It is affiliated to Anna University. Arunai Engineering College (Autonomous) offers 11 programmes at undergraduate level. These include Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security), Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) and Electronics & Communication Engineering, among others. Official college sources identify the institution as Arunai Engineering College (AEC), Velu Nagar, Tiruvannamalai, affiliated with Anna University and autonomous for 2024-25 to 2028-29. The college website lists an AICTE Extension of Approval for Engineering Courses for 2026-27, but the linked approval document's course-wise intake/application details were not extractable here. Facilities page states 672 computer systems, specialized laboratories, libraries and separate men's and women's hostels, but those metrics are outside this schema. The principal page reports Dr. C. Elanchezhian (M.E., Ph.D.), over 100 research papers and three patents; the EEE page reports government-funded research projects and collaborations. The 2026 TNEA seat-matrix PDF cited in the prior result was not treated as evidence: the reviewed text did not contain an identifiable Arunai Engineering College entry. No seat/intake/fee figure is reported. The college site lists 2026–27 AICTE approval materials and current admissions, but the exact 2026–27 EoA course table, application number and Permanent ID were not recoverable from the reviewed official page text, so they are omitted. The official Anna University list identifies the college by examination code 5104 and TNEA counselling code 1504. The college site states autonomous status for 2024–25 through 2028–29 and provides an Anna University affiliation item for 2025–26; the affiliation year is therefore recorded as 2026 only as the current target-cycle affiliation evidence, without inferring a separate permanent-affiliation date.
