Overview
About Army College of Dental Sciences
Army College of Dental Sciences is a dental college in Secunderabad, Telangana, established in 2001. Army College of Dental Sciences is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana. Its programmes are approved by the DCI. Army College of Dental Sciences offers 2 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 6 at postgraduate level. They are Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 40 seats. As of the 2026-27 target cycle, the official website identifies ACDS as a 2001 Army Welfare Education Society institution in Secunderabad, affiliated with Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana. The official 2026-27 prospectus links were visible on the college homepage, but their contents were not retrievable in this pass; therefore no unsupported current-session intake, MDS specialisation intake, hospital bed count, principal, faculty totals, dental-chair count, OPD figure, fee, cutoff or regulator letter reference is reported. The official Physiology page states 75% attendance and three internal assessment examinations, but does not establish the overall BDS/MDS exam pattern or medium of instruction. Older DCI material names the former affiliating body, N.T.R. University of Health Sciences; this is historical and not treated as a current affiliation conflict. The college is managed by Army Welfare and Education Society (AWES). The 2026-27 official prospectus links were present on the college site but could not be extracted; 2026-27 programme-specific permission, seat matrix, fee and attached dental-hospital chair/OPD figures are therefore not asserted.
