About Al-Ameen Institute of Information Sciences
Al-Ameen Institute of Information Sciences is a management college in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is affiliated to Bangalore City University. Al-Ameen Institute of Information Sciences offers 2 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 1 at postgraduate level. They are Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Computer Science (M.Sc). The supplied master name and website identify Al-Ameen Institute of Information Sciences (AIIS), which officially offers BCA and M.Sc. Computer Science, not management. The management institution is a distinct sibling/related institution: Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies (AIMS), Bengaluru, at the Lalbagh Main Gate/Hosur Road campus. The 2026 mandatory disclosure states AICTE-approved MBA intake of 120 and affiliation to Bengaluru City University; it also reports 9 classrooms, 1 language lab and 1 computer lab. Research evidence states that the principal supervised 5 doctorates and that faculty papers/consultancy are recorded. The official institute website identifies the unit as a computer-education college offering BCA and M.Sc. Computer Science, not MBA, PGDM or MCA; therefore it does not substantiate a management-discipline placement for 2026-27. The Al-Ameen Educational Society is the operating society; its 1966 establishment year is not used as the institute's establishment year.
