Overview
About Aalim Muhammed Salegh Polytechnic College
Aalim Muhammed Salegh Polytechnic College is a polytechnic in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, established in 1996. Aalim Muhammed Salegh Polytechnic College is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. Aalim Muhammed Salegh Polytechnic College offers 3 programmes. They are Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The latest retrieved AICTE EoA is for 2025-26, not the requested 2026-27, and approves Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering at 60 seats each, affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. The college website advertises a 2026 admission form but does not provide a target-year EoA, named industry partners, college-specific faculty totals, or a verified total laboratory count. The English-medium and semester evidence comes from an official syllabus PDF; its attendance section describes attendance marks rather than a minimum attendance requirement. The AICTE EOA for 2025-26 names this institution, its trust, address, affiliating authority and three approved diploma programmes. The college website separately states establishment in 1995; AICTE's 1996 figure is used here as the regulator-sourced value, and the discrepancy is retained. The college website's current course/admission pages list Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
