Overview
About A.M. Reddy Memorial College of Engineering and Technology
A.M. Reddy Memorial College of Engineering and Technology is an engineering college in Narasaraopet, Andhra Pradesh, established in 2007. A.M. Reddy Memorial College of Engineering and Technology is autonomous. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. A.M. Reddy Memorial College of Engineering and Technology offers 13 programmes, 5 at undergraduate level and 3 at postgraduate level. These include Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 864 seats. The college’s official pages identify it as an autonomous engineering institution affiliated to JNTUK-Kakinada and approved by AICTE, located at Petlurivaripalem, Narasaraopet. The official site describes laboratories, a digital library with 17,000+ books/journals, hostel and transport facilities, and a 5 KWH solar power plant. The pages reviewed did not publish a target-year 2026-27 AICTE EoA course table, college-specific faculty totals, or a separately quantified research profile. The official site has inconsistent campus-area statements (10.9425 acres on the home page and 14.5 acres on the About page), so no area is recorded here. Current-status wording is based on the college website as available for this research pass. Official pages identify this as an autonomous engineering college, permanently affiliated with JNTUK and sponsored by A.M. Reddy Educational Society. The official site has a date conflict: the About page states established 07-06-2007, while the homepage and another official page state 2008; 2007 is retained because it is the more specific date. Campus-area figures also conflict across official pages (10.9425 acres on the homepage versus 14.5 acres on the About page), so only the homepage figure is recorded. The official courses page reports college-advertised programme intakes, but no target-year 2026-27 AICTE EoA course table or AICTE Permanent ID was verified here. The institution is distinct from the sibling A.M. Reddy Memorial College of Pharmacy.
