VIT-AP B.Tech tuition is category-based and linked to VITEEE rank. Group B (Core CSE and CSE specialisations like AI & ML, Cyber Security, Data Science, Cloud and Blockchain) starts at ₹1.98 lakh per year for Category 1, ₹3.07 lakh for Category 2, ₹3.70 lakh for Category 3 and around ₹4.70 lakh for Category 4. Group A (ECE, Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, Chemical, EEE) starts at ₹1.73-1.76 lakh per year at Category 1 and scales similarly to Group B. VIT-AP B.Tech admission is primarily via VITEEE. JEE Main scores and SAT scores are used for the NRI / international / direct-admission quota with case-by-case fee banding, subject to seat availability — exact score cutoffs are not publicly fixed and are set each year by merit. VIT-AP is a fully-residential 200-acre campus at Inavolu, beside the AP Secretariat in Amaravati.
