NIT Warangal runs an extensive on-campus hostel system on its 248-acre campus. 16+ hostels including Mega Hostels A, B, C, D and Hill View Hostels house 7,000+ students by gender and academic year. First-year B.Tech students typically get triple-occupancy rooms with double rooms from the second year and single rooms from the third year by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 are heavily subsidised — typically ₹35,000-55,000 per academic year inclusive of mess. Mess service includes vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain options across hostels with student-elected mess secretaries; menus combine South Indian (predominantly Andhra-Telangana cuisine), North Indian, Hyderabadi specials and limited Continental rotations. Wi-Fi, hot-water geysers, gymnasium access, study lounges, common rooms with TV, washing machines and CCTV-monitored entries are standard. The Warangal weather is hot in summer (38-42°C April-June) and mild in winter. The campus has comprehensive dining including the Convention Centre and several student-run cafés.
