IIT Mandi follows the Ministry of Education (MoE) standard fee structure applicable to all IITs. General, OBC, and EWS category students pay approximately Rs 1.00 lakh per semester (Rs 2.00 lakh per year) as tuition, subject to periodic MoE revision. SC, ST, and PwD category students receive a full tuition fee waiver. Students from families with annual income below Rs 1 lakh receive a full waiver, while those from families earning Rs 1-5 lakh receive a two-thirds waiver under the Government of India fee remission scheme.
