DTU consistently ranks among the top 30 in NIRF Engineering. Research spans every major engineering and applied science discipline. The institute hosts the DTU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell, Centre for Polymer Science, Centre for Renewable Energy, Centre for Cyber Security, Centre for Atmospheric Sciences and many discipline-specific centres. The institute files 50+ patents annually with publications in IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier and ACS venues. Major funding from DST, AICTE, MeitY, DBT, ISRO, DRDO, Delhi Government and several international agencies. Industry partnerships span Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Robert Bosch, Texas Instruments, Tata Group, Reliance, Cisco, Intel and many deep-tech startups. International collaborations span US, UK, German, Australian, Singaporean and Japanese universities supporting student exchange and joint research.
