DTU alumni include senior engineers, product leaders, civil servants, founders and policy figures across Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, McKinsey, BCG, Tata Group, Reliance, Infosys, TCS and many Indian unicorn startups. The institute heritage as Delhi College of Engineering (1941) gives it 80+ years of alumni — among the deepest engineering alumni networks in north India. Many DTU alumni have served as senior IAS, IES, IRSME officers and in state and central government technical positions. The DTU Alumni Association runs strong chapters in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, the Bay Area, Boston, New York, London, Singapore, Dubai and Tokyo with annual reunions and the DTU Alumni Foundation supporting scholarships and research initiatives.
