Overview
About D.J. College of Dental Sciences & Research
D.J. College of Dental Sciences and Research is a dental college in Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh, established in 1999. D.J. College of Dental Sciences and Research is privately managed and self-financing. It is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow. Its programmes are approved by the DCI. D.J. College of Dental Sciences and Research offers 9 programmes, 1 at undergraduate level and 8 at postgraduate level. These include Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics, Crown & Bridge, Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontology and Implantology and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, among others. The stated sanctioned intake across these programmes totals 142 seats. For 2026-27, the college website presents BDS admissions as open/current and states 100 BDS seats; it also lists eight MDS specialisations. The official site reports an attached Divya Jyoti Medical Hospital on campus, but its pages inconsistently describe associated capacity as 100 beds and 300+ beds; the 100-bed figure is used here because it appears on the dedicated hospital page. The site reports 110+ faculty, which is not an exact faculty total and is therefore not entered as a numeric faculty row. The official website states establishment in 1999 and identifies the institution as DJ College of Dental Sciences and Research. The DCI/NDC-hosted college list opened is labelled for academic year 2025-26, not 2026-27, and lists the college as private, established 1999-00, at serial no. The college website advertises admission for 2026-27. Hospital capacity is contradictory on the official site (100 beds on the home and hospital pages versus 300 beds on the about page), so it is not recorded as a campus fact.
