CBIT Hyderabad operates 6 hostel blocks (4 boys, 2 girls) accommodating 2,400+ students. Boys hostels: Aryabhatta, Vivekananda, Tagore and Bhaskara. Girls hostels: Sarojini and Indira. First-year and second-year students must stay on campus; third and fourth-year is optional. Twin-sharing AC rooms cost INR 1.5 lakh per academic year (rent + amenities + electricity); non-AC twin-sharing INR 95,000-1.05 lakh; single-occupancy AC (limited, mostly final-year and PhD) INR 2.0 lakh/year. Mess fee separate at INR 50,000-58,000/year covering 4 daily meals. Mess offers South Indian, North Indian, Continental and a separate Telugu authentic counter on weekends. Each room has cot, study desk, wardrobe, attached bathroom (in newer blocks), 100 Mbps Wi-Fi and AC backup. Common amenities: AC reading rooms, gym in Aryabhatta and Sarojini, basketball court, table tennis, carrom, swimming pool (limited use). Curfew: 9:30 PM for boys, 9:00 PM for girls; out-pass with parental call-back protocol. Hostel allotment is on-application after JEE Main / EAMCET counselling concludes. The Old Boys Hostel near gate-2 hosts visitors and parents at INR 600-800/night.
