CBIT Hyderabad accepts BTech admissions through TS EAMCET (70% of seats), JEE Main (15%), Convener Quota Management (10% — capped CET-rank-based) and direct Management Quota (5%). For 2024, the EAMCET cutoffs were: CSE closed at AIR 850 General, ECE 1,250 General, IT 1,400 General, EEE 2,800, Mechanical 5,500, Civil 7,800, Chemical 4,200. JEE Main cutoff was 95 percentile for CSE General, 90 for ECE, 78-82 for Mechanical and Civil. Total tuition fee 2026-27: INR 1.65 lakh per year for CSE/IT, INR 1.45 lakh for ECE/EEE, INR 1.20-1.30 lakh for other branches. Hostel + mess add INR 2-2.5 lakh/year. Convener Quota counselling proceeds through 3 rounds — registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, fee payment. Management Quota: separate application + INR 50,000 application fee + interview + sponsor demand draft. NRI quota requires USD 8,000 annual fee. Required documents: 10th and 12th certificates, EAMCET rank card or JEE Main scorecard, Aadhaar, PAN, transfer certificate, migration certificate, 4 photos.
